Will handle cradle to grave projects working with engineers, customers and
estimators to drive projects. Will utilize Microsoft office products to
drive data tracking.
- Design Engineering Manager
(TM5902) Will lead design effort by doing both conceptual design using
Unigraphics and leading the activities of 3 full-time, 1 part-time
engineers. Will evaluate quotes for manufacturability issues, make
presentations to customers (GM, Chrysler, etc.) once bid is accepted, help
design tooling, and then work with design to reduce manufacturing costs.
Will also do FEA work as many of these parts are large.
- Project Engineer (TS5908)
Will lead project to make sure the design meets customer specifications.
Will coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineers.
- Design Engineer (JV5945)
Will be responsible for the design of weldments and fabrications for custom
lifting equipment for the utility and construction industries. Will use
AutoCad or Solidworks for the design.
- Mechanical Design Engineer
(JC5954) Will take products from customer and design machines for a tire
making company. Will design using Autocad and will take it from design to
build. Will assist with the installation, start-up, and troubleshooting at
the customer site.
- Controls/Electrical Systems
Engineer (JC5979) Will take customer specifications and generate
electrical bill of materials and electrical drawings for machines. Will lead
and manage the electrical engineering and custom design order projects. Will
provide quote assistance to sales. Will also maintain and control bill of
materials.
- Project Design Engineer
(TM5984) Will be responsible for the custom design of machinery using
ProEngineer and AutoCad. Will be designing heavy fabrications and machined
components. Will use FEA to perform structural calculations. Will do the
design from concept to product detailing. Will also travel to customers and
dealers for design reviews or field testing.
- Design Engineering Manager
(TM5985) Will be responsible for a department of engineers and designers
who use ProEngineer to design machinery. This manager will need to have 3D
design, FEA, and some estimating experience. Will work with customers and
dealers to field test new products, purchase/vendor source components, and
research new product ideas. Will be responsible for department productivity.
Will also conduct employees' reviews and do some required travel.
- Controls Engineer (TS5986)
Will develop and design control systems for customer applications using PLCs,
servo drives, motion controllers, and stepper motors. Will also help to
develop the next generation of control systems for customers.
- Electrical Engineer (JV5988)
Will be responsible for the electrical power distribution design on
buildings such as schools, hospitals, industrial facilities, and commercial
buildings. Will attend the meetings with the other disciplines and work with
the customers taking projects from start to finish.
- Senior Hardware Project
Engineer (JV5989) Will be responsible for the design and development of
the next generation of products. Will do microprocessor based circuit
design, digital design, and analog design.
- PCB Designer (RB5992)
Will design PCB boards for medical applications. Will troubleshoot issues
with customers and design boards to customer specs.
- Machine Designer (TM5993)
Will use Inventor to do electro-mechanical design of custom machinery and
machinery systems. Will detail mechanical parts (gears, levers, shafts,
etc.) and electrical systems and connectors. Will also interact with floor
to solve assembly issues. Will use geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
tools.
- Engineer II (BU5998) Will
be responsible for the design and development of products. Will focus on
electronic hardware for sensors. Will develop the product requirements and
specifications. Will also be responsible for documentation, and working with
customers on technical issues with product design or development.
- Rubber Test Engineer (TM6008)
Will be responsible for talking to customers to discuss their product or
material, the performance parameters it needs to meet, and the test that
need to be done to gauge its effectiveness. Then will design (No CAD) any
test equipment or fixtures the test will need, build the test equipment, and
then run the tests and document the results. Will then communicate the
results to the customer.
- Design Engineer (BU6010)
Will design and develop custom filters and filtration systems using
Inventor. Will work with customers on new designs and design changes.
