The purpose of this section is to provide you some additional information about accepting a temporary opportunity. When thinking of temporary positions the biggest hurdle most professionals must overcome is the term “temp”. This term immediately evokes an image of semi-skilled workers performing day labor or non-skilled office tasks. Hollywood even personified a temporary employee in the movie “The Temp” as a psychotic killer. This is hardly a positive reflection on the concept of temporary help! Let’s shed some serious light on the benefits of using a temporary position to advance your career and enhance your search for a permanent position. The common misconception of low quality temporary positions and unskilled employees is easily dispelled with a look at Search Masters’ temporary workforce.
